My Sign

I SEE IT EVERY DAY

I have a sign on my bedroom wall. It's nicely framed and matted. The writing is surrounded by images of little pink flowers. For years I have dragged it with me from pillar to post and always hung on my bedroom wall right in line of my vision so it's the first thing I see when I wake up and the last thing I see before I go to sleep. I think that little sign may have added years to my life because it has helped to keep me focused on living. My sign reads "LIFE IS A GIFT". It reminds me that even if I don't always like the gift I received, I have to say "Thank You" to the One who gave it.
