"Unlocking Your Chains: How to Embrace Personal Freedom
Sometimes we feel like we're in prison when we're living an unhappy life. Most of us don't realize we hold the key to our chains. We think someone else, either a person or divinity, will have to set us free. God created you to be free and to enjoy your freedom. He didn't intend for you to be a door mat or a scapegoat for others to use and abuse. Here are a few ways a person can be abused by another, especially their life-partner.
Do They:
Isolate you from your family and friends
Control what you do, spend, say, or wear
Deny you access to money or financial assets
Accuse you constantly of being unfaithful
Force you into sex when you don't want it
Hurt, shove, hit, kick, bite or slap you
Can you be free and happy under such abuse? Of course you can't. Decide today that you will use any and every means available to you to find your key and unlock the prison of abuse to escape to the freedom a loving God intends for you to have.
